Edge is the #1 provider of offline (DRTV, Print, OOH, Radio) and online (Display, Search, SEO) creative development, production, media planning and buying to both entrepreneurial and global enterprise clients.  This position is based out of Boston, MA and supports clients nationwide. 




Account Supervisor will serve as a key client interface for companies utilizing multiple direct response marketing/media channels.  Account Supervisor position requires the ability to manage, and begin to lead, the agency's day-to-day relationship with key client contacts and earns and keeps each clients' respect and confidence as a trusted advisor bringing value to their business through a strong commitment to success, consistent performance, and the ability to develop a wide range of ideas and solutions. The individual will provide leadership, management and counsel on marketing initiatives of integrated marketing services.  Channels may include digital/interactive services, TV, radio, direct mail, collateral





  • Acquire in-depth knowledge of client's category, competitors and consumers
  • Start to provide strategic insight & POVs by gaining pervasive knowledge of the client business and marketing goals
  • Know how to find information and data for the team that can stimulate idea generation
  • Frequently contribute well-thought out ideas. Demonstrate passion and hunger for finding insights
  • Display marketing curiosity and a willingness to push your own thinking and the agency's work in new directions
  • Clearly establish objectives and priorities for client initiatives
  • Develop creative briefs and show passions and respect for big ideas and the creative process
  • Support and contribute to the development, sell-in and protection of big ideas
  • Assist in the development of program strategies, objectives and tactics
  • Ensure that client expectations and requirements are clearly understood and that agency deliverables meet those expectations
  • Take ownership of projects and partner with other agency partners to develop and manage budgets, schedules and scope of resources
  • Provide effective and efficient oversight of agency resources to ensure projects are delivered as promised
  • Continue developing as a leader and problem-solver for client needs/opportunities
  • Manage and aid in the career growth of lower level account members




  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for mid-level clients
  • Effectively balance the dual expectations of our clients and of agency stakeholders
  • Establish day to day objectives for yourself and your team and be able to work independently on projects (knowing when to check in with AD)
  • Can plan, coordinate and drive individual (or multiple) projects  overseeing/working with AE/AAEs to develop their skills
  • Facilitate client discussions on project results against KPI goals and help AD make recommendations
  • Responsible for building and maintaining the partnership of each client
  • Author, or oversee development of core client communications such as contact reports and  all legal documents (SOWs, Cos, media authos, work authos)
  • Work with AE to review all art file updates for accuracy, report on number of rounds, schedules and performance metrics
  • Continue developing as a leader and project problem-solver for client needs/opportunities
  • Manage AE or AAE (based on job description) to:
    • Coordinate agency & client schedules
    • Prep materials for meetings & presentations
    • Manage key non-creative project docs on shared drives (working with PM) 
    • Help AD with project financial management




  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, Communications or Economics
  • 5+ years of account management experience in a similar position at a fast-paced agency or on the client side
  • Detail-oriented, good follow-up skills, multi-tasker and able to work well under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Establish clear objectives and day-to-day priorities for yourself and ability to work independently
  • Excellent organizational, presentation and communication skills


  • Demonstrated success in "owning" high-quality programs that have provided measurable and meaningful results
  • Strong verbal, visual, written and presentation skills specifically talking with clarity and confidence to clients, and writing concise presentations and proposals
    • Ability to confidently present to mid-level clients where appropriate
  • Effectively plan and organize the work of you and your team handling multiple projects efficiently, effectively and productively
  • Provide effective and efficient oversight of agency resources to insure projects are delivered as promised in terms of time, budgets and results
  • Prepare thorough, accurate and consistent work to clients reflective of the agency's quality standards
  • Ability to adapt to workload and working conditions while maintaining a positive attitude and professional demeanor
  • Effective communication skills ability to communicate to agency staff and clients both verbally and in writing; as well as being a good listener
  • Ability to project and instill confidence in others
